1. Regular Technical Program: Technical papers are the core of the UT technical program. When your abstract is accepted for presentation, it is required to write a paper per instructions for publication in the symposium proceedings and in the IEEE Xplore©
2. Student Poster Competition (SPC): Students may submit abstracts to the Student Poster Competition ((Abstract + Full Paper + Poster + Judging):If an abstract is chosen, the student will then submit a full paper and poster which will be presented in the student poster section and published in IEEE Xplore. This competition is open to any full-time student in an accredited program. The student must be listed as the lead and corresponding author. Selected students, based on abstract reviews, will be exempt from the registration fee and will receive partial reimbursement for travel expenses. Those abstracts not selected for the SPC may still be accepted into the regular technical program.
3. Special Session: If you would like to organize a special session with 4-6 papers, please contact TPC co-chairs.
Authors are to prepare a 2-page abstract with text between 500 to 1000 words, with figures and tables. PDF files of the abstract are to be submitted via web-based submission site.
At least one author from accepted papers is expected to register and attend the symposium to present the paper. One registered author may present up to three papers at the symposium. Also the accepted authors are expected to prepare and submit a manuscript for conference proceedings to be distributed at the conference. (4 to 10 pages in the IEEEStandard double-column format.) All papers presented at the conference and included in the conference proceedings will be published on IEEE Xplore©.

Step 1: Registration of abstract
Step 2: Uploading of abstract file
First, you must register the information for the abstract such as:
- Corresponding Author information
- All Authors Names
- Abstract Title
- Keywords
Once the registration is complete, you will receive an email informing you the ID and password for the abstract. Make sure to keep this ID and password, as it will be needed to modify the information or upload the abstract file.
The abstract file need not be uploaded at the time of registration and the file can be uploaded later. However it must be uploaded before the submission deadline of Friday, September 18, 2026.
